Description
Heceta Head is home to Oregon's historic and most-photographed lighthouse. A beautiful lightkeeper's house sits on a cliff overlooking the Pacific, its red roof lighting up the hillside with color. This photo was captured in the minutes before dusk, before the sun had dropped behind the jagged rocks just offshore. Wind-driven mist drifts towards the cliff, creating a golden haze.

Great photo! Nice computer work, too. One of my fav places to do photography... and this represents the reasons why. Fantastic!

YES, Heceta Head is always a fun place to visit. We go there and wait for sunset when we're over on the coast. Love all the driftwood/logs lying around--perfect seating for photographers!
