Lynn, isn't it fun to run into images that bring back memories like that? Yosemite Valley is amazing, but I really fell in love with the park the time we wandered up around Tioga Pass. So many little alpine lakes tucked away on the sides of the road. I'd love to go back sometime.

I know this lake!! I usually just call it the "green lake," because it is the color of it that always catches my eye as we are driving!! Lovely capture, Bonnie!! f/l

We almost took another road instead of Tioga Pass. Sure glad we didn't miss it. I wish we had started very early in the morning, though, because we could have spent more time there. It was such a beautiful sampling of God's handiwork!

Oh, how lovely! I particularly like the similarity of tones, here, set off by the blue. Just beautiful!

Trish, you would love it. I almost missed this little lake, because it sits back in an area that's partially blocked from the road by trees. Glad we stopped and I leapt out with my camera! Thanks for your sweet comment. I hope you can visit Yosemite someday - what a beautiful place!

About Bonnie Bruno

Bonnie Bruno

Welcome! I am a nature photographer and mixed media artist, inspired by the colors, patterns, and textures God wove into our amazing world. Before I took up art, I spent 30+ years working for both mainstream and inspirational publishers writing books, curriculum, Hallmark cards, columns (Newsday), and magazine articles. My 21 years as a military wife fed my love for travel and adventure. We lived six years in Germany and in three regions of the U.S., eventually settling in the lush green Willamette Valley of Oregon, which we have called Home for the past 33-plus years. Faith, family, and the great outdoors. Life is good and I feel very blessed! Visit my Instagram feed for...
