The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Before I took up art, I spent 30+ years working for both mainstream and inspirational publishers writing books, curriculum, Hallmark cards, columns (Newsday), and magazine articles.
