Artist's Description

"We sit silently and watch the world around us. This has taken a lifetime to learn. It seems only the old are able to sit next to one another and not say anything and still feel content. The young, brash and impatient, must always break the silence. It is a waste, for silence is pure. Silence is holy. It draws people together because only those who are comfortable with each other can sit without speaking. This is the great paradox." - Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook

About Bonnie Bruno

Bonnie Bruno

Welcome! I am a nature photographer and mixed media artist, inspired by the colors, patterns, and textures God wove into our amazing world. Before I took up art, I spent 30+ years working for both mainstream and inspirational publishers writing books, curriculum, Hallmark cards, columns (Newsday), and magazine articles. My 21 years as a military wife fed my love for travel and adventure. We lived six years in Germany and in three regions of the U.S., eventually settling in the lush green Willamette Valley of Oregon, which we have called Home for the past 33-plus years. Faith, family, and the great outdoors. Life is good and I feel very blessed! Visit my Instagram feed for...
