About Bonnie Bruno
Welcome! I am a nature photographer and mixed media artist, inspired by the colors, patterns, and textures God wove into our amazing world. Before I took up art, I spent 30+ years working for both mainstream and inspirational publishers writing books, curriculum, Hallmark cards, columns (Newsday), and magazine articles. My 21 years as a military wife fed my love for travel and adventure. We lived six years in Germany and in three regions of the U.S., eventually settling in the lush green Willamette Valley of Oregon, which we have called Home for the past 33-plus years. Faith, family, and the great outdoors. Life is good and I feel very blessed! Visit my Instagram feed for...

David, I appreciate that you took time to offer feedback. Thank you so much.

Gorgeous colour - I also like the stalk without a flowerhead, the shadowy shapes and the band of lightness in the lower third. Great composition!

Cosmos are some of my favorite flowers to photograph. They're well-behaved. :)
