Welcome! I am a nature photographer and mixed media artist, inspired by the colors, patterns, and textures God wove into our amazing world. Before I took up art, I spent 30+ years working for both mainstream and inspirational publishers writing books, curriculum, Hallmark cards, columns (Newsday), and magazine articles. My 21 years as a military wife fed my love for travel and adventure. We lived six years in Germany and in three regions of the U.S., eventually settling in the lush green Willamette Valley of Oregon, which we have called Home for the past 33-plus years. Faith, family, and the great outdoors. Life is good and I feel very blessed! Visit my Instagram feed for...

Isn't it great what a few simple rectangles can say? I love the blue tones and the composition of this image. This is my pick of the day in the Best of Minimalism in Photography group for January 22.

Meg, this pioneer home is the first to be built in a nearby county. It has a lot of character, but it was sad to see the picket fence falling down, and lots of repairs needed.

Wonderful shot Bonnie. I love the shapes and light and shadow. L/F!
