Inspired by Colossians 2:2 in The Message: "I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God."
Digital watercolor print of a fabric weaving in soft pastel hues. Created from a photo I shot of a child's woven pot holder, then digitally painted in Photoshop using a Wacom Intuos pen tablet. It is merged with a textured blue overlay.

Welcome! I am a nature photographer and mixed media artist, inspired by the colors, patterns, and textures God wove into our amazing world. Before I took up art, I spent 30+ years working for both mainstream and inspirational publishers writing books, curriculum, Hallmark cards, columns (Newsday), and magazine articles. My 21 years as a military wife fed my love for travel and adventure. We lived six years in Germany and in three regions of the U.S., eventually settling in the lush green Willamette Valley of Oregon, which we have called Home for the past 33-plus years.
