Psalm 118:24 reminds me that each day is a gift, a unique opportunity to give thanks for the many blessings of this life--for friends, family, and gorgeous elements of Nature that point me to God's goodness. This image was shot late one afternoon in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, when sunshine burst through looming storm clouds.
