Turnip fields smell delicious, very sweet--similar to lilacs. Their perfume hangs in the air and is carried on the wind. In the Willamette Valley of Oregon, beautiful yellow flowers are hallmarks of a growing crop of turnips. This was captured with a DSLR camera right before a storm blew in.
