Betty, thank you. Coming from a gifted artist such as yourself, this means a lot to me. The butterfly was flittering around at alpine level, so I'm not sure if it prefers the higher elevations exclusively or not.
Bonnie, this is very pretty. There is basically 4 colors here which make the image simple in its beauty. All the colors are soft except for the outstanding vivid butterfly. I've not seen a mormon fritillary before. Just the Gulf.
